The First Chapter Comes to an End

We’re excited to announce that – from the 1st of April 2024 – we will become Ibex England Ltd.

First things first.

All the reasons you may be a valued customer of Oxford Leathercraft will remain unchanged. Our products and people are here to stay along with the same partners and attention to detail. Since the acquisition of Ibex England in 2014, our focus has been to become a specialist in the supply of trouser belts in the United Kingdom, and this has paid off. Today, we support hundreds of retailers nationwide, along with supporting larger brands in design and manufacture.

Why are we doing this?

2024 marks the 50th year of Oxford Leathercraft, founded by James Pomeroy (pictured above) in 1974, who started the business making leather straps for prosthetic devices. Throughout the last 50 years the business continued the grow, organically trading as a partnership. The move to incorporate and trade as Ibex England Ltd allows us to continue our journey, expand the business wider, further and will better serve current and future customers.

What happens next?

For now, there’s no need to worry. We will communicate all the information with you, our customers, and continue our journey, manufacturing exceptional belts under Ibex England Ltd, adding to the esteemed heritage of the brand.
